Chapter 2- Creatures of the Night

The first time I met Isaac Luck was at a party at Finnegan Sawyers house. I was immediately drawn to him. something about that pale skin. I have always been a sucker for pale skin.  We quickly became friends and I was really hoping it could turn into something more.

"No! I still can not think that way! Only emotion I can feel is happiness that I might get pregnant again" I had scolded myself.

A few weeks later I decided to have a party at my place. It had been a very busy day and I almost forgot all about it. But when I remembered I invited Isaac I couldn't get the smile off my face. Oh boy! My mind drifted, oops. I looked up and saw that Isaac was just looking at me with a smirk. So I quickly started talking about nothing at all.

"Soooo, heh, how about the party? Are you having fun" He laughed quietly "Why yes, now that I have your attention again I am, though you are cute while you ponder!"

The next day I taught Silas how to walk, he was a little clumsy but so cute to watch him try so hard! "Come here baby boy, you can do it!"

Onyx picked up on talking quickly. 

"Can you say write"

"Write" 

"Good job! can you say Quill?"

"Wuill"

"Almost" He had trouble with his "Q's"

That night it was time for the toddlers to age up! "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Silas and Onyx!"

I found a mysterious lamp sitting in my living room the next day."What the heck is this dusty old thing doing in here, I swear if one of the boys stole it they are going to be in big trouble! I dusted it off and a strange looking blue man dressed in odd clothes came out of it next to me!"AHHHHHHHH", I screamed, "Who are you what do you want? Please don't hurt my family"

" I am not here to hurt you Master, I did not mean to frighten you. " The blue thing said

"Then... why are you here? wait, did you call me master?"

"Yes, I did. I am your Genie and you get 3 wishes!"

"Oh my goodness, that is amazing!" I was so excited.

"I wish for Fortune! I plan on having a big family and I can not work because I am constantly taking care of my children which I wouldn't change for the world"

I jumped back startled when he started glowing. 

"Your wish is my command!"

A strange sensation came over me as I was surrounded by light and lifted into the air. This feeling was creepy but fantastic all in one.

That night Issac invited me to a party. I was so glad to be on his mind!

"Isaac... I have something to confess. I am so very attracted to you. I am so drawn to you in a way I have ever been drawn to someone before."

"I am drawn to you as well Mila. There is something about you, I think it is those eyes!"

" I have something for you"

As my hands shook, I pulled a bouquet of red love roses from behind my back and tried not to shove them in his face.

"I love them" He exclaimed!

"I am so sorry I have to leave, the kids are at home, can I please see you again soon?"

"Of course" as he kissed me good bye.

The boys had their first day of school the next day!"Have fun, be nice to your teach..." *Door slams* "ers... well, hopefully all goes well." They came home a few hours later.  "How was your day my little one?" I asked. "It was good momma, I made some new friends and got to play on the playground!"

"Wowww, sounds like fun! Can you please do your homework now?"

I kept think about how badly I needed to have more children, I missed being pregnant. I was able to make enough money to sell the house and allow us to move, this little old place was falling apart. The fortune I had made from my wish to the genie helped as well. "Everyone in the car please! I already packed up, we are moving!"

"Awesome" Silas said. "Cool" said Onyx.

I met my neighbor Brandon that night before going to sleep in my new house! While the kids were at school I finished my first book! "I hope everyone likes it! " I said to myself with a smile.  I picked up the phone that night and called Issac. 

"Isaac, its Mila. I was wondering if you wanted to come over tonight?" I hope he was okay with me asking.

"Blunt and to the point, I like that, I will be over soon!" Phew, I was so relieved!

My nerves were getting to me and I was hungry so I decided on some light juice before he came over. A knock on the door later told me he was here. Isaac embraced me "I am happy to see you! I have been thinking about you all day" He said, I giggled, smitten!  

"I need to tell you something first..." I was scared.

"You can tell me anything babe"

"I can't fall in love with you. I mostly need you so that I can expand my family, I am doing a challenge. But I want us to remain friends because I care about you so much!"

"I can do that, I can be okay with this.. maybe some day in the future we can be more" He replied. We had some fun in the shower.

The next morning Silas woke up and kept reading and reading and reading. Onyx was having fun on the chemistry set! Still tucked into bed I slept. Isaac had woken up and played on the computer. "I will let her sleep" Issac thought. "She must be tired."

Later that day I felt really sick...

"Blergggg, blehhhh"  *wipes face*  "Man this part sucks"

I decided to go to the doctor and get a test done. A phone call earling in the morning startled me. "Hello Ms. Autumn, this is Doctor Thompson, I am calling to let you know that your blood test came back and you are pregnant"

I jolted awake! "Thank you doctor, thank you so much, I will see you at the next check up!"

The house was getting messy, I did some laundry it was really starting to stink. "Painting always relaxes me, I love putting brush to paper" I said out loud to myself. Silas watched me as I played a racing game. "Go Mom go! You are almost in first place" He cheered!

Birthdays were celebrated again, it was hard to believe my boys were teens.

Isaac called and I told him about the pregnancy. "I am so happy that you got your wish! And I am proud to be a father soon!" "I cant wait for them to come, I hope they get your amazing skin and are vampires!" Saying goodbye was hard, I couldn't get him out of my head and that was not a good thing.

The next morning I approached Onyx. "Onyx, how is school going? are you getting your work done?" I asked him. "Yes mom, I am doing really well, I think I am going to get Honor Roll!"

"I am so proud of you"

"Oh mom! Can you sign the permission form for Silas and I to take a field trip tomorrow?" After signing the slips I sent the boys off to do their work. I went out to the store and I bought them a water slide that night for doing so well in school. Onyx was obsessed with it.

"Its round Silas, my stomach looks round" I tried explaining my pregnancy to him. "So I am going to be a big brother!?" He asked me. "That you are!" I said with a smile. Onyx walked over to see what was going on. Onyx leaned in "I cant hear anything mom" I laughed, "Put your hand on my tummy." I said to him. "Oh my goodness, it kicks!"

"Yes, they do, its not always comfortable."

Uhoh! my water broke and I ran into the nursery, I was going to do at home birth this time! -PUSHHHHHH, Breathe, Breathe, PUSHHHH- I reminded myself.  I welcomed my vampire twins Lilith and Aiden into this world. Now that I didn't have a big belly I got t enjoy the water slide while the babies slept!

Silas was amazing with the babies. " Here ya go Aiden, eat up! I am happy I don't eat this nasty green goo anymore!"

"Hello gorgeous Lilith, Its nice to finally have a sister!" He cooed to her.
